  • What Can Credit Optimization Fix?

  • Can I dispute things on my credit report?

    You have a right to accurate reporting of your accounts and if there are items on your credit report that are incomplete or inaccurate or not yours then Laurie Claire Credit Consulting can help you investigate those items.  You also can learn how to do this on your own.  

  • Will Checking My Credit Score Lower It?

    No, checking your own credit is called a "soft pull". This means it won't affect your credit. This misconception occurs because "hard pulls" -- where a creditor checks your credit score to see if you qualify for credit -- can temporarily lower your score.

  • Should I Get Credit Optimization After Bankruptcy?

    Bankruptcy can have a profound, long-lasting impact on your credit score. For this reason, it's good to speak with a credit professional to understand your options for re-establishing your credit post-bankruptcy.  

  • How Long Does Credit Optimization Take to Work?

    This answer varies based on your situation. While you can start seeing an impact within weeks we recommend that you consider a minimum window of 30-45 days for results to impact to credit reports. 

  • Why Do I Have Three Different Scores?

    There are three primary credit reporting agencies: Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion (also Lexis Nexis for public records). There are many reasons for the differences in scores however, it is critical to ensure whomever is reporting your information is reporting it accurately and truthfully.  If there are inaccuracies then you could have reason to dispute and investigate that information to have it removed or repaired.
